Exelon Pulls Out Of PSE&G Takeover
After two years of public hearings, litigation, testimony and negotiations,
and more than 11,500 letters, phone calls and e-mails to state decision makers, New Jersey
consumers won a precedent-setting, hard-fought victory when, on Sept. 14, Exelon walked away
from its bid to buy out PSE&G.
Momentum Gained On Drug Safety Campaign
NJPIRG’s drug safety campaign picked up speed this autumn. Sen. Barbara Buono introduced the
Prescription Drug Right-to-Know Act in the state Senate, and a few Assembly Members joined Asm. Dr.
Conaway as the co-sponsors of the companion legislation.
